The Shortest Way could be the Longest Distance
Exodus 13:17-22
Main Point: God may take the longer path to fulfil His purposes, but He will be faithful to guide us. 1. God may take the longer path to shape and mould us - The faster way is not necessarily the safest. - It takes time to get “Egypt” out of us. - A premature success may do more harm - God wants spiritual formation not just salvation. 2. God will encourage us through His promises and presence - God will keep His promises - God assures us of His presence. Reflection: What is an area in life you are seeking or praying? What might the Lord be teaching you in the process of waiting?
