Chaplaincy at Presbyterian High School (PHS)
Since our first worship service at Presbyterian High School (PHS) in 1991, AMKPC has shared a close and meaningful relationship with the school.
Over the years, through our involvement in the Boys’ Brigade, Girls’ Brigade, Christian Fellowship, Chapel Services and Morning Devotions, we have had the privilege of journeying with generations of students and witnessing their growth. By God’s grace, we have also cared for and mentored students as they discovered and grew in their faith in God.
Weekly Chapel Services
We conduct weekly Chapel Services for PHS students, where God's Word is shared through messages, testimonies and other meaningful engagements.
Selected Chapel sessions also feature personal testimonies, including sharing by alumni, to help students see how faith can be lived out through knowing God, trusting God and living for God.

Christian Fellowship
The Christian Fellowship (CF) provides a regular space for students to grow in their faith and encourage one another. Led by our pastors with support from the school, about 40–50 students gather every Thursday during recess for fellowship.
Quarterly outings and activities are also organised during the school holidays to build relationships and encourage students in their walk with God.

Prayer with School Leaders & Parents
We hold monthly prayer meetings with PHS school leaders and parents, praying for the school, its staff, students and matters concerning the wider school community.
These gatherings are followed by breakfast fellowship, providing opportunities to strengthen the friendship and partnership between the church, school leaders and parents.
Other Engagements
During Holy Week, we organise activities that help students understand the significance of Easter, including video screenings and a Maundy Thursday Holy Communion Service.
The Chaplaincy also supports school community initiatives such as the Parents' Support Group (PSG) Parents' Hug events. Through live music and interaction with students, we share messages of God's love, care for one another, and appreciation for our teachers and parents.
As a church, we give thanks for the opportunity to be part of the Presbyterian High School community, and we pray that God will continue to use us to serve, care for and journey with generations of students.
This remains an important part of our mission:
“To make disciples in PHS and our communities.”
