Family Ministry

At AMKPC, Strong Marriages and Families is one of our church's key pillars as we seek to grow in Christlikeness together. We believe that Christ-centred marriages and families are foundational to a healthy church and a faithful Christian witness.

Through our Family Ministry, we seek to equip, encourage, and journey alongside individuals, couples, and families at every stage of life with biblical teaching, practical support, and a caring community.

Our Family Ministry seeks to:

• Prepare dating couples for a Christ-centred marriage through biblical pre-marital counselling and mentoring.
• Equip parents with biblical wisdom and practical skills for nurturing their children and building godly homes.
• Strengthen and enrich marriages so that husbands and wives may grow together in love, faith, and commitment.
• Support families through life's challenges by connecting them with pastors, counsellors, mentors, and appropriate care within the church.

Through our 16-session Married For Life (MFL) course, engaged couples are equipped with a strong biblical foundation and practical wisdom to prepare for a Christ-centred marriage. Guided by experienced marriage counsellors, the course covers key areas such as communication, conflict resolution, finances, expectations, intimacy, and spiritual leadership within marriage. Each couple is assigned to their marriage counsellors who journey alongside them, providing mentoring, encouragement, accountability, and support as they prepare for this lifelong commitment.

Building strong families is an ongoing journey. Throughout the year, we organise and support programmes that encourage healthy marriages, intentional parenting, and Christ-centred family living.

Together, we seek to build Christ-centred marriages and families that honour God, nurture the next generation, and reflect His love to the world.
