Jesus is the true shepherd who leads us into abundant life. 1. The door that leads to life. 2. The thieves and robbers that steal and destroy life. 3. The shepherd who lays down His life. Reflection: 1. What are some of the “thieves” and “robbers” that lead you away from Jesus? 2. ⁠How can you recognise and follow the voice of good shepherd each day?

Having received the Holy Spirit, let’s “set our minds on the Spirit (v5-6)” and put to death the “deeds of the body (v13)”. Introduction 1. The Struggle with Sin 2. The Gift of the Holy Spirit 3. Our Human Obligation: a. “Set your mind on the things of the Spirit” b.“Put to death the deeds of the body” Reflection: - How does it look like to “set your mind on things of the Spirit?” - What aspects of your life is the Holy Spirit prompting you to “put to death”

Main idea: Faith – to receive God’s grace with humility and persevere till the end. Introduction 1. Faith is saying “Yes” to God’s gracious gift (Romans 4: 1 – 8) 2. Faith is available to everyone who believes (Romans 4: 9 – 12) 3. Faith needs us to go all in till the end (Romans 4: 13 – 25) Reflection: – Will you accept God’s invitation by faith to trust him with your life? – In what way(s) have you lacked faith to let God take charge of your current stage of life?

Main point: God justifies, redeems, and presents Jesus as the propitiation for our sins so that He may be both just and the justifier of those who believe in Jesus. 1. Justification – God declaring us not guilty. 2. Redemption – God paid by being the sacrifice. 3. Propitiation – God turned His wrath away from us because of Jesus’ offering Reflection: - How does an understanding of justification, redemption and propitiation help us appreciate how God saves us? - What would be appropriate responses to God’s gift of grace in Jesus?

1. The Man who think he is good enough (vs 1-3) 2. The God we all must face on Judgement Day (vs 4-11) 3. The Gospel and the importance of repentance (vs 12-16) Reflection - Do you think you are good enough to pass the judgement of God? - What is the Lord moving you to repent from today?

Main Idea: God’s wrath against sin points us to our need for the Gospel. 1. We incur God’s wrath by suppressing the truth (vv18-23) 2. The consequences of rejecting Him (vv24-32) Application: 1. Examine which area in your life which may be displeasing to God? 2. Pray for boldness to live and share the Gospel.

Main point: The Gospel is about who Jesus is and what He has done for us 1. Jesus is God’s promise fulfilled to save us 2. Jesus is God’s Son, taking on our humanity 3. Jesus is God’s Son in power by his resurrection 4. Our Response to the Gospel: a. Believe in Jesus Christ b. Share the Good News Reflection: - What aspect of the person or work of Jesus stood out to you? Why is it important? - Who can I be LAMPS for Christ in 2026? Ask God for a compassionate heart for the lost.
