(vv59-63) Reflection: 1. What gift from God are you beginning to trust more than God Himself? 2. Where do you need to hear God’s gracious “Yet”, and to know that because of Christ, your failure is not the end of your story?

Serving the Lord

Main point: Those whom God calls, He empowers, encourages, and sustains by His word. Introduction 1. We serve because of who God is. - The vision of God (Ezekiel 1) - The Cross of Christ (Mark 10:45) 2. God empowers those He calls 3. The ministry will be difficult, but be the “prophet among them” 4. “Be not afraid…” - God desires faithfulness more than fruitfulness 5. “Eat” the Word Reflection: - How are you serving in ways God has gifted you today? - How does God’s word nourish you as you serve the Lord? How can you cultivate a habit to “eat” God’s word (Ezekiel 3:1-3)?
